Estancia is a 27 story building with 89 residential units. The project was completed in two phases that took two years to complete, starting a long-term relationship with the Estancia Association.
Phase one's scope of work included repainting the building and replacing all sealant, which was completed in time and under budget. During phase two, focus shifted to waterproofing the plaza deck and planters, which required complete removal of the plaza deck pavers and planters to replace the existing failing waterproofing membrane system and expansion joints.
Hurricane Irma made landfall during phase two, but because pre-storm preparation was adequate there was no damage to the project. A new fountain and pool area renovation were added to the scope of work by the building architectural committee midway through this phase.
